Koenigsegg Gemera

The six-phase Dark Matter motor weighs about 39 kg and combines radial-flux and axial-flux design characteristics.

The Gemera client specification uses an 850 V, 14 kWh high-voltage battery developed and produced by Koenigsegg.

The Gemera is the first Koenigsegg with both all-wheel drive and four-wheel torque vectoring.

The Gemera uses a nine-speed Light Speed Tourbillon Transmission developed specifically for its powertrain layout.

The Hot V8 and Dark Matter combination in the Gemera client specification produces a combined 2,300 hp and 2,750 Nm.

Koenigsegg’s in-house Dark Matter electric motor in the Gemera produces 800 hp and up to 1,250 Nm.

In the Gemera client specification, the 5.0-litre twin-turbo Hot V8 produces 1,500 hp at 7,800 rpm.

Koenigsegg limited planned Gemera production to 300 cars.

The Gemera was designed as a four-seat megacar with usable space for rear passengers as well as those in front.

The original Gemera concept’s Tiny Friendly Giant engine and Direct Drive were replaced by the Hot V8 and LSTT arrangement for the 2023 client specification.
