The CCR’s Nardò run surpassed the McLaren F1 mark that had stood as the production-car benchmark for about eight years.

In February 2005, the CCR reached 388 km/h at Nardò and took the Guinness production-car speed record.

In the CCR technical data, Koenigsegg quoted about nine seconds for the standing quarter mile, with a 235 km/h terminal speed.

A total of 14 Koenigsegg CCRs were built.

The CCR was an evolution of the CC8S and was produced by Koenigsegg from 2004 to 2006.
