Saleen

For the naturally aspirated S7, Saleen quoted 0–60 mph in under four seconds and a top speed exceeding 200 mph.

The S7 used carbon-fibre bodywork, combining low mass with its race-derived architecture.

The S7 was designed as a mid-engined car, with the powerplant mounted behind the cabin.

The original S7 used a naturally aspirated 7.0-litre V8 producing 550 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque.

The launch specification for the S1 listed an approximately 42% front and 58% rear weight distribution.

In December 2017 Saleen quoted the S1 at about 2,685 pounds, or roughly 1,218 kg.

The S1 combined an aluminium structural tub with carbon-fibre body panels.

In the original S1 specification a six-speed manual was to be standard, with a paddle-shift automatic planned for later.

The 2017 launch specification quoted 450 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque for the S1 engine.

In the specification announced in December 2017, the S1 used a Saleen-designed turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine.
