Aston Martin DBS Superleggera

The DBS Superleggera came standard with 410 mm front and 360 mm rear carbon-ceramic brake discs.

Carbon-fibre body panels are mounted over a bonded aluminium structure to reduce the flagship GT’s mass.

At maximum speed, the DBS Superleggera’s aerodynamics generate about 180 kg of downforce without a large fixed rear wing.

Aston Martin quoted a 0–100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds.

The eight-speed ZF automatic is rear-mounted in a transaxle layout, helping distribute mass between the axles.

The V12 sits low and well back in the engine bay, creating what Aston Martin describes as a front-mid-engine layout.

The DBS Superleggera uses a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 producing 725 PS and 900 Nm.

The DBS Superleggera carries a factory top-speed figure of 211 mph, about 340 km/h.

The DBS Superleggera was unveiled in 2018 as Aston Martin’s new series-production flagship.

Airflow is managed in part by Aston Martin’s Aeroblade system and a race-inspired double diffuser.
