Singer has completed the first customer car restored through its DLS Turbo services. Named “Sorcerer” by its owner, the commission starts with a Type 964 Porsche 911 but emerges with carbon-fibre bodywork, a twin-turbo flat-six and chassis engineering that goes far beyond the scope of a conventional cosmetic restomod.
The owner chose the track-focused body configuration. Finished in Fantasia Blue, the car uses a deep front spoiler and larger raised rear wing. Singer developed the carbon body surfaces with computational fluid dynamics to balance aerodynamic performance and cooling. Forged magnesium centre-lock wheels measure 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear.
The engine is a 3.8-litre, four-valve-per-cylinder twin-turbo flat-six driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Double-wishbone front suspension is paired with lightweight rear trailing arms, while CCM-R carbon-ceramic brakes handle stopping. Five selectable modes alter the intervention of the traction and stability systems, allowing the owner to move from road and weather settings to a track-oriented calibration.
Inside, Pebble Grey leather and Pearl Grey Alcantara are paired with Champagne trim. Singer retains the familiar five-gauge 911 layout but reinterprets it with hand-built floating instruments and carefully integrated modern connectivity.
Sorcerer's importance is less about any single specification than the milestone it represents. DLS Turbo is no longer only a development or display programme: the first completed customer commission has been reunited with its owner, putting Singer's most ambitious turbocharged restoration service into private hands.
