Production-spec Apollo Evo keeps the V12 for just ten track cars

Apollo has revealed the production-spec Evo, an extreme hypercar intended only for circuit use. Just ten examples will be built, with the first already entering production. The car develops the Intensa Emozione formula with a new carbon-fibre monocoque and a far more aggressive aerodynamic package.

Power still comes from a naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 paired with a six-speed sequential transmission. PistonHeads reports a weight of about 1,300 kg and a 0-62 mph time of 2.7 seconds. The larger point, however, is that Apollo has not tried to reconcile the Evo's performance with road homologation. It is a dedicated track machine.

Aerodynamics are central to the package. Carscoops reports a claimed 1,300 kg of downforce at 200 mph. The cabin follows the same uncompromising logic, exposing structural elements and using carbon fibre and 3D-printed aluminium while still retaining items such as air conditioning and driver displays.

Apollo will also offer its FORGE personalisation programme. With production capped at ten cars, the company says individual Evos can differ in materials, finishes and detailing. That makes each example a highly individual commission rather than simply one unit from a small batch.

The price is reported at around £3 million. The combination of a high-revving, non-hybrid V12, massive aerodynamic load and track-only status puts the Evo in an increasingly rare corner of the modern hypercar market, where outright mechanical drama takes priority over road usability.
