Porsche and Soho House have created a one-off Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo called Soho House One. Built through Porsche's Sonderwunsch programme, the car combines factory personalisation with the materials and interior language associated with Soho Home.
The starting point is the 700 kW, 952 PS Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo. Its powertrain remains the basis of the project, while most of the bespoke work is concentrated on paint, cabin materials and finishes developed specifically for this car.
The body is painted in an exclusive satin-finish colour called Greek Street Green. It references the exterior of the original Soho House at 40 Greek Street in London. The wheels use a contrasting Monteverde Green finish, separating the commission from a conventional paint-to-sample exercise.
Inside, Truffle Brown leather is combined with burl wood and a bespoke chocolate-coloured Murphy Jacquard fabric. Its geometric pattern takes inspiration from London's 180 House. Porsche has also fitted its Variable Light Control glass roof, which can electrically alter the transparency of the roof panel.
Soho House One is intended as a showcase for Sonderwunsch rather than the start of a production Taycan derivative. Its public debut was scheduled for Icons of Porsche, Sunstede Silverstone Edition on 20-21 June.
The project is notable for the way high-end factory personalisation is moving beyond a simple choice of unusual paint and leather. Here, the reference point is a particular interior-design environment, with fabric, wood and colour developed as a coordinated set that is not part of the standard Taycan configurator.
That approach places Soho House One in the same broader trend as increasingly elaborate one-off commissions from luxury and sports-car manufacturers. The mechanical car remains recognisably a production Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo, but the customer-facing design work is treated almost as a separate small-scale product-development programme.
