Porsche has created the 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition, a 20-car series reserved exclusively for Kuwait. The model marks 70 years of the marque's presence in the country and draws on Al Sadu, the traditional weaving art recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage.
The special edition is based on the latest 992.II-generation 911 Turbo S. Its Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur treatment uses the Sadu motif both outside and inside the car. The body is finished in Cremewhite with high-gloss black SportDesign elements, while graphics in Bordeaux Red, Guards Red, GT Silver and Black run along the lower doors and the underside of the rear wing.
Inside, black leather is paired with Bordeaux Red and lighter accents. The Sadu-inspired textile appears on the seat centres and door panels, while hand-finished cross-stitching extends across the dashboard, doors, rear compartment, seats and centre console. The headrests carry a “70 Years” embossing rendered in Arabic script.
Porsche also built small details around the production number and anniversary. The illuminated sill plates contain 20 square elements, with the seventh square lit in red as a reference to 70 years. Each car also receives “Turbo S Sadu Edition” badging on the B-pillars.
Porsche's history in Kuwait dates to 1956, when Morad Behbehani imported a Porsche 356 Cabriolet. Behbehani Motors Company has remained the marque's local importer, and the special edition was developed as a direct reference to that long-running relationship.
With only 20 cars planned, the Sadu Edition is a genuinely local collector model rather than a conventional equipment package. It also illustrates how far Porsche's regional Exclusive Manufaktur projects now go: beyond paint and plaques, the cultural reference is carried into textiles, stitching and small bespoke components created for one market.
