Maserati has presented the one-off MCPURA Cielo Frozen Magma in St. Moritz, created through the Fuoriserie programme for The I.C.E. The car is not a new mechanical derivative of the MCPURA. Instead, it is a factory-personalisation exercise built around the contrast between ice and heat.
The body is finished in Ai Aqua Rainbow, an iridescent colour that changes with the light. Its cool base is broken up by bright orange accents including the Dreamline, exterior badges and the Trident behind the seats. Gloss-black lower body sections frame 20-inch Fuoriserie Cyclonic wheels, with orange brake calipers and matching small details completing the exterior treatment.
Inside, black Alcantara carries laser-etched Chevron graphics, orange backing and contrast stitching. Carbon-fibre trim reinforces the technical side of the design. The simplest confirmation of the car's status is its dedicated plaque reading “Maserati Fuoriserie - THE I.C.E. 2026 - ONE OF ONE.”
Mechanically, Frozen Magma remains an MCPURA Cielo. Its mid-mounted Nettuno V6 produces 630 CV and uses Maserati's pre-chamber combustion technology. The commission also includes options such as carbon-ceramic brakes and a suspension lift system.
Frozen Magma illustrates how high-end personalisation programmes are moving beyond catalogue combinations of paint and upholstery toward vehicles conceived as single visual compositions. Here the engineering platform stays familiar, but virtually every visible detail has been coordinated around one theme and one event.
