Maserati has introduced the GranTurismo Trofeo Launch Edition for Japan, with just two cars allocated to the market. Announced on 27 October 2026 to mark the arrival of the updated GranTurismo, the edition pairs a revised twin-turbo V6 with carbon-fibre exterior details and a distinctive white-and-red specification from the brand's Fuoriserie personalisation programme.
The starting point is the latest GranTurismo Trofeo, powered by Maserati's 3.0-litre Nettuno V6. The company says output has risen by 40PS to 590PS compared with the previous version. Its pre-chamber combustion system is a central part of the engine's technical identity. Maserati has not announced a separate power increase for the Launch Edition; the new specification is concentrated on appearance, materials and chassis-related details.
The exterior is finished in Bianco Pastello, a special solid white paint, with a carbon-fibre front splitter and rear spoiler providing contrast. Gloss-black forged Trident wheels measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. Maserati says the wheel specification increases the front and rear track by 10mm relative to the standard wheels without changing the car's overall width. Red anodised brake callipers sit behind them.
Inside, bright red perforated full-grain leather is paired with Trident embroidery on the headrests. Dark-finish adaptive matrix LED headlights, privacy glass and the Trofeo sport design package complete the specification. Both cars are configured with right-hand drive for their Japanese customers.
Maserati has set a price of ¥30,990,000, including Japanese consumption tax. That figure buys an exceptionally scarce local specification rather than a new standalone powertrain. With only two examples offered, the Launch Edition will be among the least common configurations of the revised GranTurismo Trofeo.
