Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition limited to 11 for Mexico

Cadillac has unveiled a Mexico-only Escalade-V special edition bearing Sergio “Checo” Pérez's name. Just 11 vehicles will be produced, a direct reference to the racing number worn by the Cadillac Formula 1 Team driver. The SUV made its debut at the residence of the United States ambassador in Mexico on October 19, 2026, with dealer availability beginning the following day.

Rather than developing a more powerful Escalade, Cadillac has given its existing high-performance SUV a numbered, highly localized specification. The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 retains its factory-rated 682 hp and 653 lb-ft of torque, delivered through a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Six-piston front Brembo brakes, adaptive air suspension and Magnetic Ride Control are already part of the Escalade-V package.

Changes for the Pérez edition concentrate on identification and finish. Black Escalade and V-Series badges accompany monochromatic Cadillac emblems, an exposed carbon-fiber engine cover, sport pedals and V-Series puddle-light graphics projected from the mirrors. The black-and-white exterior and interior combinations draw on the Cadillac Formula 1 team's colors rather than a conventional luxury trim theme.

Each vehicle carries two serialized plaques, one on the B-pillar and the other on the center console. They are numbered from 1/11 through 11/11 and include Pérez's signature. Cadillac also supplies an exclusive welcome kit. The driver said he participated in the project from its design through to its presentation, giving the edition a more personal connection than a nameplate alone.

Cadillac has set the Mexican list price at 4,099,000 pesos. No allocation has been announced for markets outside Mexico: the company describes all 11 vehicles as exclusive to the country. For collectors, the distinction is the combination of extremely small production, signed identification and a direct connection to the Mexican Formula 1 driver, rather than any change to the Escalade-V's performance.
