Bugatti marks 20 years in the US, where one in three Tourbillons will go

Bugatti used this year's Concours at Wynn Las Vegas to mark two decades of selling its modern cars in the United States. In a statement published on November 4, the company said the US is now its largest single market worldwide, served by twelve dealerships, with 353 Bugatti cars there. It also said one in three Tourbillons, the V16 hybrid successor to the Chiron, will be delivered to American customers.

The anniversary dates back to the arrival of the Veyron in 2006. Since then the American customer base has followed the brand through the Chiron and now into the Tourbillon era, and Bugatti says many of the owners who came to Las Vegas have bought several generations of its cars.

Twenty owner cars and a one-off

For the occasion Bugatti assembled twenty customer-owned hypercars at the Wynn event. The centrepiece was the Destrier, the newest car from Programme Solitaire, the department that builds a unique body and interior for a single client. Bugatti limits that programme to no more than two cars a year. The Destrier was revealed in August 2026 and is based on the Bolide, using the track car's carbon chassis and its 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16, rated at 1,600 PS. Unlike the Bolide, it does without the large wings and add-on aero in favour of its own bodywork.

The figures say more than the celebration itself. A third of Tourbillon production is a large share for one country, and it shows how heavily Bugatti's order book now depends on American buyers. Sascha Doering, COO of Bugatti of the Americas, said new customers join the brand in the US every year. Managing director Hendrik Malinowski said America had become the company's largest market, adding that the people behind that growth mattered more to him than the delivery count.

Bugatti did not break down the 353 cars by model, and it did not say how many Tourbillons have been ordered so far.
