Broad Arrow Auctions has published the catalogue for its second Zürich sale, bringing more than 80 collector vehicles to the Dolder Grand hotel on November 7, 2026. Announced on October 21, the sale will be held in partnership with Auto Zürich. Its range is striking: three different Mercedes-Benz SLR McLarens sit alongside a BMW 3.0 CSL owned from new by former Formula 1 driver Nick Heidfeld, limited-production supercars and vehicles with unusual histories.
The highest-estimated member of the Mercedes trio is a 2009 SLR McLaren Stirling Moss. Just 75 of the open-bodied speedsters were built to commemorate Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson's victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia. Broad Arrow has assigned this example a CHF 2.5 million to CHF 3 million estimate. Its odometer showed 13,410 km when catalogued, it has remained with the current owner since new, and it took part in three modern Mille Miglia events.
Another unusual lot is a 2008 SLR McLaren Edition Roadster, a McLaren Special Operations version estimated at CHF 575,000 to CHF 675,000. The auction house says only 25 SLR McLaren Editions were made, including six Roadsters. A 2005 SLR Coupé completes the group, with an estimate of CHF 250,000 to CHF 300,000.
Heidfeld's 2023 BMW 3.0 CSL provides a different kind of provenance. One of 50 produced, it has been owned by the German racing driver from new and comes with bespoke delivery memorabilia. Broad Arrow estimates CHF 900,000 to CHF 1.2 million for the car. That history may be especially appealing to buyers who value a documented first owner as much as the rarity of the model.
Beyond the German machinery, the catalogue includes a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am built as a promotional K.I.T.T. tour car, not the screen-used television original. The Swiss-built 1975 Monteverdi High Speed 375/4 and a 2008 Gumpert Apollo Sport broaden the selection, while a 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari and a 2017 F12tdf are both to be offered without reserve.
These are presale estimates, not achieved prices. The November auction will provide the first market verdict on a catalogue that mixes low-volume modern cars, first-owner provenance and specialist collector oddities.
