BOTTEGAFUORISERIE: Fuoriserie options chosen on one in four Maserati orders

One in four Maseratis ordered during 2026 has been specified with Fuoriserie personalization, according to figures released by Alfa Romeo and Maserati on November 4. The proportion is far higher for the GT2 Stradale: the company says 80% of its customers selected bespoke colours or other exterior and interior finishes. These are among the first concrete figures to emerge from BOTTEGAFUORISERIE, the two marques' shared specialist operation.

Launched on November 4, 2025, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE draws on facilities and expertise in Modena, Turin and Arese. Its remit extends well beyond ordering unusual paint colours. The operation combines Bottega, which develops few-off and one-off cars; Fuoriserie customer personalization; heritage work under La Storia; and Corse, the motorsport and engineering arm. It is a joint framework for specialist projects rather than a new standalone vehicle brand.

The anniversary statement also reports that sales of individually commissioned one-off creations have risen by more than 500% compared with previous years, with Maserati naming the MCPURA and GT2 Stradale among the main contributors. That is a manufacturer's reported increase for a narrow category of commissions, not a figure for Maserati's overall vehicle sales. No underlying unit total or precise comparison base was disclosed.

At Alfa Romeo, the group's work has produced several distinctive 33 Stradale specifications. They include Perla Nera, finished in exposed matte carbon fibre, and a Paris-themed example shown at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The first US delivery took place in Austin, Texas, with a Rosso Villa d'Este car wearing a white stripe and the number 14. These projects illustrate how an already low-volume model can be configured around individual owners.

The heritage business reached a separate milestone. Maserati Classiche has issued more than 100 authenticity certificates since the programme began in 2021. Its 100th certificate went to a 1959 Maserati 3500 GT Convertibile Vignale Prototype. The motorsport side, meanwhile, continues development of Maserati's Project GT4, which is scheduled to begin racing in 2028 following its earlier presentation at Goodwood.

The company also pointed to a further Alfa Romeo project previewed at Stellantis' investor event in May 2026. It supplied no new model name, production quantity or launch timetable in the anniversary release. For now, the most revealing change is in customer behaviour: bespoke specification is no longer an occasional exception within Maserati's performance-car business.
