ACE One RR brings a carbon-bodied 330 hp Alpine A110 to Epoqu'Auto

French specialist ACE is showing its One RR in public at Epoqu'Auto in Lyon from November 6 to 8, 2026. The car starts as a second-generation Alpine A110, then gains an all-carbon body and a claimed 330 hp. Alpine is not involved. ACE's own legal notice states that the project is not sponsored, associated, approved or affiliated with Alpine Cars.

AutoNext reported the public debut plans on November 5, drawing on ACE's technical dossier. Orders are open, with a wait of about two years. Each car is treated as a unique commission. Buyers can order the conversion alone or a complete project that includes a donor A110 with the 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

What ACE changes

ACE says the carbon body weighs 35 kg, is reinforced with Kevlar and needs 30 moulds to make. A polycarbonate rear window replaces glass at the back. Tracks grow by 100 mm at the front and 220 mm at the rear. The car sits on 19-inch forged wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres. ACE claims about three times the downforce of a standard A110. No kerb weight has been published.

The 1.8 TCe engine keeps its basic architecture. ACE raises output to a claimed 330 hp on RON 98 fuel with a reworked turbocharger, a new air-to-water intercooler and dedicated mapping, plus a titanium exhaust with twin outlets. Peak torque in the November 3 dossier is 398 Nm from 3,200 rpm. ACE's website has also shown 430 Nm; the dossier figure is the clearer source. Claimed performance is 3.8 seconds to 100 km/h and 284 km/h flat out. All of those numbers remain subject to a homologated test.

Partners named by ACE include BG Turbo, Garrett, ALP Racing Suspension and Brembo. Suspension development is credited to Signatech, builder of Alpine's competition cars, with racing driver Nelson Panciatici involved in development driving.

Why the timing matters

Dieppe ended second-generation A110 production on July 1, 2026 after 28,701 cars. The next A110 is electric. That leaves a finite stock of petrol donors for independent projects such as the One RR. ACE speaks of limited production but has not published a hard cap.

Founder Christian Escourbiac dates ACE to 1994 and the One concept to 2020. Managing director Stephane Dalens joined in 2023. Images in the dossier are digital renders by Alexandre Gouraud, so the Lyon stand is the first chance for the public to inspect a physical car. Hall 6, stand AH47 is the listed location at Eurexpo.

The One RR sits in the coachbuilt niche that grows whenever a low-volume sports car leaves production: a wider, carbon-skinned reinterpretation sold without factory endorsement, with claimed figures still waiting on homologation and a published kerb weight.
