Evoluto Automobili has completed the main development phase of the 355 by Evoluto and confirmed that the programme is ready for production. The first of 55 customer cars was due to enter the production facility in March, with the first delivery scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
The project starts with a Ferrari F355 but changes the body structure, suspension, steering, engine, cabin and aerodynamic package. Evoluto's final production prototype completed more than 5,000 miles of track testing and 10,000 miles of engine testing. Final durability sign-off is scheduled for April as part of a 20,000-mile validation target.
Two naturally aspirated V8 specifications are planned. The 3.5-litre version produces 420 PS, while a 3.7-litre alternative develops 480 PS. Evoluto has widened the tracks, redesigned suspension components, reduced unsprung mass and quickened the steering. The stated aim is sharper response and feedback without turning the F355 into a digitally filtered modern supercar.
The validation programme also matters because Evoluto plans to back the cars with a two-year, 20,000-mile warranty. That is a relatively concrete durability commitment for a classic supercar subjected to such extensive mechanical and structural re-engineering.
“Production ready” does not mean every test has finished. Final durability approval is still expected in April. The February announcement nevertheless marks the transition from prototypes and engineering development to the start of work on customer cars, which is the material milestone for a restomod programme first shown in 2024.
