Aston Martin Valkyrie

Aston Martin developed the Valkyrie - initially codenamed AM-RB 001 - in partnership with Red Bull Advanced Technologies and Formula 1 aerodynamicist Adrian Newey. Designed to bring Grand Prix engineering directly to a road-legal platform, the hypercar relies on a minimalist carbon-fiber structure with no steel components in its chassis.

The vehicle is built around full-length underbody Venturi tunnels that generate extreme ground-effect downforce without requiring massive, drag-inducing rear wings. At its core is a mid-mounted, naturally aspirated 6.5-liter Cosworth V12 that revs to 11,100 rpm, paired with a lightweight electric motor and KERS-style battery system developed by Rimac. Together, the powertrain delivers a combined 1,160 horsepower.

In addition to the 150 road-going coupes, Aston Martin produced 85 open-top Valkyrie Spiders featuring revised dihedral doors, alongside 40 track-only Valkyrie AMR Pro models. The AMR Pro variant extended the wheelbase, added aggressive circuit aerodynamics, and shed the weight of the hybrid system entirely to rely solely on the high-revving V12.
