Aston Martin DB12

The DB12 chassis uses a new generation of adaptive dampers with a much broader operating range than those in the DB11.

The DB12 became the first model in the DB line to use an electronically controlled rear E-Diff.

Aston Martin quoted a 0–60 mph time of 3.5 seconds for the DB12.

To raise V8 performance, Aston Martin used larger turbochargers, revised cam profiles and a higher compression ratio, among other changes.

The DB12’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 produces 680 PS and 800 Nm, substantially more than the V8 in the preceding DB11.

The DB12 received a factory-quoted top speed of 202 mph, about 325 km/h.

After the May 2023 reveal, Aston Martin scheduled the start of DB12 deliveries for the third quarter of 2023.

Aston Martin unveiled the DB12 on 24 May 2023 and described it as the world’s first “Super Tourer”.

The DB12 was the first Aston Martin fitted with the brand’s all-new infotainment system developed in-house.

Aston Martin and Michelin developed a bespoke version of the Pilot Sport 5 S tyre for the DB12’s 21-inch wheels.
